Welcome to Healing Pastures @ C Horse Ranch

Healing Pastures @ C Horse Ranch is a place where horses and humans can come together to heal. We are a Non-Profit Organization. Our mission is to provide equine therapy and wellness services that promote healing and growth for both our animals and our visitors. We believe in the power of the human-animal bond, and we strive to create a peaceful and nurturing environment where both horses and humans can thrive.

Services We Offer

At Healing Pastures @ C Horse Ranch, we offer a variety of equine therapy and wellness services to meet the individual needs of each of our clients. From equine-assisted psychotherapy to horseback riding lessons, our programs are designed to promote healing, growth, and connection with our animals and the natural world. Whether you're looking to recover from a difficult experience, improve your mental health, or simply deepen your relationship with horses, we have a program that can help.

Our History

We have been providing riding since 1992. Our first non-profit was called Riding High Equestrian Program. Our First contract was San Mateo County Juvenile probation working with at risk youth.

Healing Pastures C Horse Ranch was founded in 2013 by Honey Cowan serving youth and adults with special and individual needs.

Over the years, we have moved from a public barn to a private facility to maintain the safety and privacy of our clients.

We are dedicated to the welfare of our animals and the well-being of our clients, and we believe that by working together, we can create a world that is more compassionate, connected, and peaceful.

Join Our Community

We are always looking for volunteers to help us care for our horses and support our programs. Whether you have experience with horses or just a passion for animal welfare, we have opportunities for you to get involved. As a volunteer with Healing Pastures @ C Horse Ranch, you'll have the chance to make a difference in the lives of our animals and our clients, and to connect with a community of like-minded individuals who share your love of horses and healing.
